Evyap, one of the world’s leading players with 97 years of experience in personal care and hygiene, is establishing its third facility abroad in Indonesia.
The new facility is being realized with an investment of over USD 70 million as an important step in Evyap’s international growth plans.
Evyap, which has production facilities in Malaysia and Egypt in addition to Turkey, will strengthen its position in the global oleo-chemical market with its new facility in Indonesia.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the new production facility in Sei Mangkei District of North Sumatra Province of Indonesia was held on September 5, 2024. This investment is Evyap’s first venture in Indonesia and an important step in the company’s growth strategy in Southeast Asia. The project will also contribute to strengthening economic ties between Turkey and Indonesia and support the sustainable growth of the region.
Speaking at the ceremony, Indonesian Deputy Minister of Investment Nurul Ichwan said, “Thank you very much for this important investment in the region. This investment will have an important share in the prosperity and development of not only Indonesia but also Asia. We believe that this will also strengthen the relations between Indonesia and Turkey.”

When our new facility in Indonesia is completed, we aim to become one of the top 5 players in the oleo-chemicals sector in the world.”
